Exposition à la Sala Canal de Isabel II de la Comunidad de Madrid (E), du 15 décembre 2015 au 27 mars 2016.. Par quels moyens les idées sont-elles communiquées ? Où résident les images ? Une sélection de huit des projets les plus significatifs de Joan Fontcuberta nous confronte à ces questions. Herbarium, Fauna. Sputnik, Securitas, Pin Zhuang, Miracles, Deconstructing Osama et Trepat jalonnent entre 1984 et 2014 une recherche artistique connue à juste titre comme la problématisation des « régimes de vérité » en photo- graphie. Mais à cette occasion, le critère de sélection proposé par la commissaire Sema D'Acosta ajoute une perspective originale : le contraste dans le travail de Fontcuberta entre la distribution dans l'espace (expositions, installations) et la mise en page (livres de photos, livres de signatures). En d'autres termes, il s'agit ici d'une mise en équation pédagogique dont les variables sont les contenus, les supports utilisés et les publics.. . Through which devices are ideas communicated? Where do images reside? A selection of eight of Joan Fontcuberta's most significant projects confronts us with these questions. Herbarium, Fauna. Sputnik, Securitas, Pin Zhuang, Miracles, Deconstructing Osama and Trepat stake out between 1984 and 2014 an artistic inquiry rightly known as the problematization of the "regimes of truth" in photo- graphy. But on this occasion the criterion of selection put forward by curator Sema D'Acosta adds an original perspective: the contrast in Fontcuberta's work between the distribution in space (exhibitions, installations) and the layout on the page (photo books, signature books). In other words, we are here being presented with a pedagogical balancing of equations, the variables of which are the contents, the media used and the audiences.
