Ce nouvel ouvrage, qui rejoint la collection Sub, se distingue des autres titres : il n'est pas accompagné d'une carte blanche. Marvin a choisi de s'exprimer à travers une interview menée par Éric Karsenty, co-responsable des Éditions Fisheye. Il a également fait le choix de retirer certaines images pour laisser la place aux témoignages d'amis rencontrés au fil de ses voyages, qui abordent leur rapport à la violence et la manière dont elle les a transformés.. . . . . . . . . . Following his first book, La Trilogie du Bonheur, Marvin Bonheur continues his work documenting suburbs around the world (United States, United Kingdom, West Indies, etc.) and examines the mechanisms that perpetuate violence.. . . . . This new book, which joins the Sub collection, stands out from the other titles: it is not accompanied by a carte blanche. Marvin has chosen to express himself through an interview conducted by Éric Karsenty, co-director of Éditions Fisheye. He has also decided to remove certain images to make room for testimonials from friends he has met during his travels, who discuss their relationship with violence and how it has changed them.
